Limits on use
Compounds catalogued here are for controlled laboratory or research settings only.
Any use outside that setting, including self-administration, administration to another person, or administration to an animal, is prohibited by our Terms and may be unlawful. Supplying an unlicensed medicinal product for human use, or making a medicinal claim for it, is an offence under the Human Medicines Regulations 2012, which sit under the Medicines Act 1968.
We provide no guidance on preparation, quantity, frequency or route of administration, and we will not provide such guidance on request. We publish no dosing calculator and no conversion tool. Requests of that kind are not answered, and repeated requests may result in the account being closed.
Liability
Biogenetic Research Labs Ltd accepts no responsibility for misuse of a compound, for handling or storage outside the published conditions, or for any harm arising from use outside in-vitro laboratory research.
Nothing in this disclaimer limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded. Our full liability position is in section 10 of the Terms and Conditions.
Your responsibilities as a research user
- Complying with all laws and regulations that apply where you receive, hold, use and dispose of research chemicals.
- Using compounds only in a laboratory or controlled research setting.
- Carrying out a risk assessment and applying appropriate control measures, including the duties under the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations 2002 where they apply to you.
- Storing compounds as published for that compound and disposing of them lawfully.
- Not supplying, administering, describing or marketing a compound for human or veterinary use.
- Taking your own professional advice on any question of research design, legal compliance or interpretation of analytical data.
